This review is from: Harmony Smiley's Nose Plugs (Sports) I tried every decent-looking and decently-reviewed nose plug I could find on Amazon, and this is the only one that actually stopped water completely. The pads are thick enough to clamp your whole nostril, they don't slide off (make sure to wipe any skin oil off your nose before putting them on), and the pliable metal lets you squeeze it tight over your nose. Simply, it really, actually works, which is surprisingly rare among nose plugs. This review is from: Harmony Smiley's Nose Plugs (Sports) Practicing my combat roll in the pool, I used a cheap lanyard so I could put it around my neck. That really is the only reason this nose plug gets 4 stars. The helmet strap is awesome(for when the actual kayaking trips come around) but it just seems like there would be a way to enable lengthening or to move that little metal thing so it could fit around your neck. Otherwise it is a great nose plug, does what its supposed to, comfortable, and better than the ones you get at a sporting goods store. FANTASTIC. Even with sunblock on my face, they never moved...grade 3 rapids rushing at me and a ditch...and these plugs didn't move at all!!!!
